8 Hr Battery life. I started my Morning with a full charge at 9:AM it's 1:PM I had at 12:PM 18% life left. I surfed the net. I displayed to you the review and edited. all at Default settings of the Laptop. Charging is about 2 Hrs time.

I needed a Laptop to edit 4K video, not playback 4K (lol) and this Laptop will do that. Not into video gaming. It will stutter for a second with viewing to me that is quite normal, as well on a cross fade. It will play smoothly 4K no question about it.

I had no issue when not a thing was on the laptop, I only have Magix and Howard loaded a email alert set up. I visit only a few sites the forum I hang at and IE11 and VS becomes slow. due to their set up. Using Firefox it is much smoother. YouTube issue also due to IE11, shows notifications in firefox, not IE?

Laptop stays cool, has some heat on the bottom, not like my Sony Vaio, burning hot.

Audio & Video certain clips not sure persons camera etc, but sound not crsytal clear, but much better if asked over my Sony.

Keyboard layout, need time to get aquainted and used to. a Pleasure to type no pounding the surface to get keys to strike. the Enter is pressed super close to the upper key, compensation of board Lol. Issue with browser you can not type a post if it is buffering, doing something, so why I used another browser to quickly be trouble free.

Price Around $900.00 works for me I never trusted Acer, and Now I am won over, I trust HP, last laptop due to reasons like lighting of keys on or off. Silver keys with lil white lettering and white light hard to see. Acer Black keys with white letter and white light perfect Nvidea green sticker. 1tb card, 3 plus ports. you name it...

1 Nvidea is offering a 30 refund due to a law suit

Update Battery fails to do 8 hours, Browser locks Firefox is giving issues, loaded Opera and WOW love it Edge is also good. IE is holding strong

Over all I love the Aspire R 15.
