I recommend a laptop with at least 3 USB-A Ports preferably USB 3.0. A lot of laptops will have 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 USB 2.0.
USB-C Ports
USB-C is not QUITE mainstream yet, but I definitely recommend at least 1 USB-C port.
Look carefully at the speed of the USB-C port. Sometimes, the Type C port will operate at USB 3.0 speeds and not USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds. (10Gbps)
That's not *bad* but it is good to know what you are getting
